The land the club currently stands on was obtained March 28, 1917 by the Polish Falcon Gymnastic Association from Stan & Julia Goscinski. This organization was originally formed under the title of the Independent Polish Falcons in June of 1913. The name changed in 1914 to the Harmonia Singing Circle when the club merged with the IM Tadeusz Kosciuszko Club. The construction of the building was undertaken 1919 at the cost of $12, 350.00. In 1921, the Broad of Directors again merged with the Knights of St. Casimer to form one organization to be known as Stow.Obywateli Domu Polskiego, Inc. For over 90 years, this private club has been at the center of North Tonawanda’s Polish Community.The first Polish immigrants began to arrive in North Tonawanda in 1880; many of them sponsored by the Buffalo Bolt Company. The NT Polonia historically centers around Oliver Street from 1st Avenue to 17th Avenue. At its center is Our Lady of Czestochowa Church was established in 1903 with the current building dating from 1928.
